Have you ever sown a seed into someone’s dream? Do you remember how it made you feel? Would you do it again?
My name is Octavia Jones, founder and director of The Octavia Jones Agency.
I have a heart to serve. It’s my God-given purpose in life. In ministry, I walk alongside teen mothers and their babies befriending them and actively showing them that there is hope beyond their current circumstances. I share the Gospel and provide progressive support to high-school and college-aged young adults and I am an active member at my home church providing breakfast to all of the ministry’s Sunday school children. In each of these areas of my life, I have been able to see how the adversary tries to creep in -to cause distraction and disruption in our families, our homes, and in our communities.
I have also witnessed firsthand what prayer, obedience, and active faith will do for those who earnestly seek God’s face in all matters of their life. I wouldn’t be able to do any of this work without my God’s love and mercy for me and my family, taking me from a life of headache and heartache to giving me the ability to treasure the life he has promised me.
The Lord has given me the ability to influence. Influence is defined as the capacity to have an effect on the character, development, or behavior of someone or something. I have the capacity to help create change from within.
My new book, "Always Going in Circles" includes creative and adventurous ways to encourage your student to clean their room. My "CLOCKS" strategy used by the main character Journey Jordan Rivers, taught by Grandpa Deuteronomy will prove to be a household activity. Cleaning is not the most favored hobby, but it sure doesn't have to be boring.

In this “fun while discovering” children’s book, "Always Going in Circles," Journey Jordan Rivers is in a messy situation! Her mom and dad work hard and clean well, but Journey is preoccupied looking at pictures, singing songs, playing games, and most of all spinning around in circles. When her grandparents arrive and notice what is really happening, Journey learns a valuable lesson, taught by Grandpa Deuteronomy, with understanding, love, and compassion.
